In July 2010 we saw a blue fog that is rare in Ontario but found in Quebec, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. It lacks most of its yellow pigment and has all of its blue pigment. It likely arrived here as an egg on a water lily plant. It takes two years for the eggs to become a frog so hopefully there will be more Rana Shaw's this year. A must to see at EARTH BOUND GARDENS in RED BAY.
