Outdoor fun is where it’s at this winter and BruceGreySimcoe is lucky to have some great outdoor skating rinks and trails. Ice is a finicky thing and is definitely weather dependant so be sure to call ahead and make sure the ice is good to go. Owen Sound’s Harrison Park has the Good Cheer outdoor rink which relies on the H.O.S.E schedule of hockey on odd days, skating on even.  South Georgian Bay Tourism gives a good round up of outdoor skating options around Collingwood right here. Blue Mountain’s Woodview Mountaintop Skating trail is a stunning experience complete with lights during nighttime hours. Click here for the details. The Simcoe County Museum has a lovely skate trail for the whole family. Check on opening hours and ticket details.
