Clay 2 is a prerequisite for the next step, Clay 3. After Clay 3, students are eligible to apply for Open Studio time. PREREQUISITE: The ability to centre a pot and consistently throw a cylinder with intention is MANDATORY. Participants will be learning how to increase the size of their work while maintaining control of the clay. Bowl forms will be introduced. Techniques for refining and finishing vessels will help to increase the success rate of throwing.
