The sweetest time of year is upon us in BruceGreySimcoe. The maple trees are tapped and maple syrup producers across the region are opening their farm gates to welcome you to come and experience the magic of syrup production. The journey from sap to syrup is a long one, complete with wood-fired boilers, taffy on snow and colourful maple grades from amber to dark. From Ontario's Lake Country's signature Tap into Maple event to Grey Roots Musuem and Archives Maple Sugar Moon festival, there's are maple syrups festivals across the region from March until late April.
