Sketches Revealed is a celebration of our beginnings and the vision of one, our founder, Bert Henderson. With the aid of an advisory board consisting of Bert's mentors; Alex Coville, Lawren P. Harris, A.Y. Jackson, and Arthur Lismer, Bert Henderson's dream of opening The Southampton Summer School of Fine Arts was realized in 1957. This exhibition features drawings, sketches and studies spanning Bert Henderson's artistic career, from the 1950s to current works.
