Maple Syrup Festivals
Taste the Sweetness!
After the long, cold months of winter, it’s time to celebrate! Head to the sugar bush and inhale the sweet scent of bubbling maple sap. Start a new “end-of-winter” family tradition - roll maple syrup in the snow on a stick to create a delicious maple lollipop.
BruceGreySimcoe’s maple syrup festivals start in late March and run right through till mid-April, with Tap into Maple running until May 31st. Pancakes drizzled with maple syrup (with sausage on the side) just taste better outside. Follow up your al fresco breakfast with a horse drawn buggy ride, a tour of the sugar shack, roasting bannock over an open fire or a hike through the woods. And don’t forget to take home some BruceGreySimcoe "liquid gold" to relive those sweet sugar bush memories.
