Bring your own reusable bags to tote new purchases or pick up one from a local business to add to your collection.

Tree-lined streets, small shops and cafes make the perfect backdrop for a leisurely and social shopping experience.  Experience the pleasure of in-person shopping at locally-owned and often family-run shops, boutiques and businesses. Pause for a break at a coffee shop, bakery or pub to refuel and carry on.

And, several of our communities’ downtown cores are strolling distance to the waterfront – Tobermory, Midland, Orillia, Owen Sound, Wiarton, Sauble Beach, Southampton, Kincardine and Barrie to name just a few. Make it a road trip and hunt out the hidden gems - antique shops, artists' studios and galleries and sweet gift shops that are dotted throughout the backroads of the region.
