Our waterfront log home, on rocky shores, is located on a point of land jutting out into Lake Huron; it features a ground floor guest room with 2 single beds; an adjacent private bath; a guest common area where a continental breakfast is served. Guests are welcome to use the small refrigerator, teakettle, assorted teas located in the common area. WiFi. Maximum two guests/night. Current member of the Tobermory Chamber of Commerce. We are minutes from the Hyperbaric Chamber. The owners of this scandinavian full- scribe log home enjoy the peace & quiet of nature. We welcome mature non-smokers; no pets, large or small. If you have difficulty walking, our entrance & accommodation is step-free. The shoreline directly in front of our home, provides easy kayak & canoe access. Explore the National Parks; hike the Bruce Trail; walk the Singing Sands of Dorcas Bay. Enjoy Little Tub Harbour, while strolling along the walkway around the harbour, or while seated on one of the many benches scattered throughout the village. Churches, library, post-office, laundromat, grocery store and eating establishments are located in the village. St. Edmunds museum, located just south of Tobermory, provides an insight into pioneer life of the area.
