Historic Saugeen Métis, an independent, historic Métis community located at Southampton, Ontario, represents the descendants of Métis in the historic Saugeen community prior to settlement. To learn more about Métis culture, local fur trade history and the Historic Saugeen Métis community visit the HSM Interpretive Learning Centre open Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm.
