Suzan’s Gallery at Lagoon City is an entertaining destination where local artists exhibit their work every weekend from June 18th through to Labour Day in September. The gallery showcases original art of all kinds including paintings, drawings, sculpting, photography, pottery, jewellery, glass art and a few surprises. Pieces are offered for sale, but feel free to just come in and browse. The gallery is a meeting place where you'll often find artists on hand, happy to discuss their work. The grounds are picturesque; perfect for painting in the open air, so you may get to see a work of art in progress or bring your kit and join the fun.
Situated at 87 Laguna Parkway (The Mews) in the heart of Lagoon City, there is always something exciting happening. The Simcoe Organics Farmers Market is in full swing just outside our front door offering home grown produce, crafts and unusual things for sale every Saturday morning. The Knights Inn Harbour Resort, home of Lakeview Restaurant is just down the street from us. Lagoon City boasts the picturesque Pride Marina where the popular Ramara Classic Car and Boat Show is held every July. A sandy public beach presents the perfect playground to splash around or just watch the boats and soak up the sun.
The Gallery! at Lagoon City is open during summer weekends. Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00. Sunday from 12:00 to 3:00. Holidays from 12:00 – 3:00 and Friday evenings for special events. Weekdays are by chance or appointment.
