Since 2016, Theatre Georgian Bay has been entertaining audiences in Grey/Bruce/Simcoe from Saugeen Shores to Orillia to Cookstown with a variety of engaging theatrical experiences. This collective of local theatre professionals creates theatre for our community that is both financially and contextually accessible, presenting compelling Canadian works and adapted classical theatre. Comedy, drama, musicals, cabarets, short plays and readings as well as the development of new plays are all part of our repertoire! Dedicated local amateurs are also often invited to participate in our presentations.
Theatre Georgian Bay’s flagship production is our annual summer Shakespeare-in-the-park style production, Bard on the Bay, performed outdoors at the Shipyards Amphitheatre in Collingwood.
