The Wasaga Stars Arena is an all season’s facility. Situated on 13 acres of land and consisting of numerous amenities. It is with in walking distance to restaurants, hotels, shopping and the largest fresh water beach in the world, not to mention the home of NHL Player, Jason Arnott 2000 Stanley Cup Champion.
The arena is fully accessible as well as having a defibrillator on site with trained staff.
The ice surface size is 82 x185 and offers 6 dressing rooms.
We offer an excellent on-site staff available daily 7:30 am-11:00 pm for your skate sharpening needs as well as any inquiries.
With the installation of a new de-humidifier unit, warm summer temperatures do not allow any interior humidity. Also newly installed by the ice surface area is the latest in energy efficient lighting.
The upper level of the arena consists of an air conditioned auditorium with a full kitchen, bar and washrooms. The auditorium may be rented for weddings, banquets, tournaments, parties and meetings with a capacity of 180 persons.
Located on the premises is a full operational Sports Camp consisting of 6 seasonal cabins with bunks (10 per cabin) along with separate washroom and shower facilities as well as a recreation hall with full kitchen. Cabins are only rented in conjunction with ice rentals and the Camp Recreation Hall with a 100 person capacity is available all year long. Other highlights to the Sports Camp is the multi-purpose sports pad (110’ X 115’), small sports field, volleyball area, playground, fire-pit, picnic tables and hiking trails.
