Take a summer day to play at Blue Mountain Resort

Jun 09, 2022
When's the last time you took a day to play? I seriously can't remember! So when the invitation arrived to come and explore Blue Mountain Resort's summer attractions for a day, I jumped on it. As adults we rarely spend an entire day jumping, running, screaming and laughing. It's the stuff of child's play. Well, this summer, why not set aside a day or even an afternoon to get out and explore Blue Mountain Resort. With or without your family, you're sure to have a great time and return to your 'real life' refreshed and energized. Here's a look at what we were able to do in just half a day at Blue!

Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster
Never mind starting your day with coffee, our day began with a ride on the Ridge Runner Mountain Coaster. This 1-kilometre track lets you race through the trees at up to 42 kilometres an hour. Don't worry, you control the brakes.

Canopy Tree Climb
There are not enough opportunities for adults to play in tree forts, it's true. Well we spent some time on the Canopy Climb Net Adventure and it was super fun. Bounce on the treetop trampolines, slide down the tunnels and make your way to the top of the observation tower for some epic views.

This little guy would have spent all day on the Canopy Climb. Check out Shine Lily's Instagram for more of her active family.
