The Sound Waterfront Festival will be a 2-day event this summer and will include Youth Day on Friday, June 30 taking place at the Owen Sound Visitor Centre. Youth Day will include family activities, food vendors, artisans and crafters, community organizations, as well as indigenous ceremonies and youth activities at the Reconciliation Garden. The city will hold its Canada Day Celebrations on Saturday, July 1 at Kelso Beach at Nawash Park. The day will feature food trucks, vendors, artisans and crafters, balloon creations, cultural and community booths, dog show, fire and police vehicles, cub car racing, circus performers and a full musical line up with a spectacular display of fireworks at 10 p.m. over the Owen Sound harbour.
