A step-by-step process introduces students to the basics of abstract painting with oil paints and cold wax medium. The workshop presents all aspects of this fascinating process including materials use, aspects of design & balance, colour relationships, how to manipulate and layer paint, to create interest through textures & mark making, and ways to include hidden and/or embedded aspects. No painting experience needed.
