The Collingwood Live & Original Music Series (L&O) takes place May 5-7 and consists of a singer/songwriter competition, music industry workshops, and a regional live music venue tour. At its core L&O is designed to provide an opportunity for true creative talent to find their audience and develop a network that will assist them on their musical journey. The weekend kicks off with a Regional Venue Tour on May 5th featuring performances from past L&O competitors. Then on May 6th and 7th ten singer/songwriters selected from online submissions will perform live in a competition setting for a chance at a portion of $5000 in cash. Two music industry workshops will round out the series, featuring "Hitting the Studio" on May 6th and "Songcraft" on May 7th. All musicians and music-lovers alike are welcome to attend. Lunch included.
