Drypoint - Chine Colle

Chine Collé is a simple method that allows thinner papers such as Japanese washi, fine decorative papers, or even newspaper and book pages, to be integrated within a single print to produce an interesting and dynamic piece. We will be using this process in combination with drypoint printmaking, which involves the use of a sharp scribe tool to create a range of marks and values on a plexiglass plate. Incorporating Chine Collé will enable you to add a colour, texture and pattern to your drypoint prints.
