Felted Soap Workshop at Kimber Valley Farms

Come join us on the farm for a workshop with our unique Icelandic sheep and learn the art of wet felting! You will learn how to layer wool to form an enclosure over a bar of soap. Felted soap is an eco-friendly way to wash and gently exfoliate your skin in the bath or shower. It also helps your soap 2-3 times longer. When your soap runs out, use the wool as a cleaning scrubby or throw in your compost or garden! Participants will each make 2 felted soaps to take home. The workshop includes all materials, instruction, light refreshments and a tour to meet the makers behind our Icelandic wool! There will be plenty of time to get up close and personal with our flock and to take lots of pics. You will also meet our livestock guardian donkey Shasta!
