In this class we will cover all of the essential skills and steps involved in working with natural dyes, from choosing the right fibres and materials to scouring, mordanting, preparing dyes, and finally dyeing and washing. There will be plenty of time for discussions on the process and possibilities, and you will leave well-equipped to continue your journey of discovery into plant dyeing at home.
