Throwing, spinning, pinching, coiling, or rolling. No matter the method, kids love to work in the medium of clay with all its squishy muddiness. This week of clay will see projects using all the methods listed above and more. There will be a lunch break with a de-wiggling stretching class to get their squirms out, followed by an afternoon full of urban art and graffiti. They will visit local graffiti sites, develop their own tags and stencils, and learn to create with spray cans. This week will feature guest instructor Billy Goodkat, known for his local graffiti murals.
