Sipping your way through Simcoe County is a good place to start your intro to BruceGreySimcoe’s craft breweries, wineries and cideries. Leave the driving to Blue Mountain and Collingwood Adventure Tours with guided tours of wineries, breweries and cideries in the South Georgian Bay area, perfect for a girls' or guys' weekend away or bachelor/bachelorette gatherings.

Breweries
The craft brewery industry continues to grow and expand in BruceGreySimcoe! No matter where you are in the region, enjoy a locally brewed pint either direct from the brewery or at a local restaurant or pub. Some are vailable at the LCBO, too. Brewery Tours
Cideries
Not surprisingly, several BruceGreySimcoe cideries can be found in Grey County, home of “apple country”. Their delicious and refreshing cider is made in whole or in part with locally grown apples, heritage apples or those grown on their own cidery grounds. Cider is also produced at some of our wineries, like Coffin Ridge, Georgian Hills and Heritage Estate.
Whisky, Gin & Vodka
With the crisp and fresh water of Georgian Bay as an ingredient, it’s no wonder the spirits produced here have a quintessential Canadian flavour, namely Canadian Mist and Collingwood Whisky. The award-winning gin and vodka from the Georgian Bay Spirit Co. sources its water from Springwater Township. Their two “smash” beverages – Georgian Bay Gin Smash and Georgian Bay Vodka Smash – are both refreshing and popular. Heretic Spirits, craft distillers of award-winning vodka and gin, are South Georgian Bay's first craft distillery. Find their products in their online store or in select LCBOs.
Beattie’s Distillers is a unique “farm to bottle” distillery, creating their Farm-Crafted Potato Vodka from their very own potatoes grown on their family farm in Alliston. This family has been potato farmers for over 100 years and are the first craft distillery in Ontario to produce premium potato vodka. Continually updating their product line, they have also created Sweet Potato Vodka, Strawberry Vodka, Blueberry & Lemongrass Vodka, Potato Gin and Poitin, an Irish-style potato moonshine. Distilling and bottling are done on-site.
