Wasaga Beach

If you’re a sun and sand lover dreaming of a visit to BruceGreySimcoe, there’s a solid chance you’ve already heard of Wasaga Beach. This 14 kilometre stretch of white sand shoreline is one of our region’s key attractions and for good reason! Not only is this the world’s longest freshwater beach, it may just be the most fun! Divided into separate beach areas—each with its own parking and personality—Beach 1 is the hub of activity located right next to the main commercial strip with a wide variety of restaurants, shops and cafes. And there’s plenty to do in addition to lying on the beach. You can skydive, flyboard, wakeboard, tube or ride a giant banana with Ride on Rentals. The Wasaga Beach Provincial Park is centrally located and worth exploring and the Nancy Island Historic Site is good for a daytrip too. You can also paddle the Nottawasaga River that ends in Wasaga Beach. Find out all the information you need to plan your Wasaga Beach visit right here.
