Bluewater Education Foundation

The Bluewater Education Foundation (BEF) is an independent, not for profit charitable organization that works to preserve, maintain, and grow the Bluewater Outdoor Education Centre. Along with collaborating with the BWDSB on the long-term maintenance and growth of the OEC, the BEF runs events and programming on-site at the BOEC, including children's programming in the summer and during school holidays; educational programming for community members; and informational programs for guests of the BOEC. We also manage facility rentals and usage for the site, as well as long-range planning for facilities to allow greater use by community groups, including at times while school groups are on site. With 130 hectares (320 acres) of accessible land, excluding the adjacent lakes and wetlands, we have room for many activities to take place concurrently,
