Steve and Karen Smith started Meaford Maples in 2013, continuing a Smith family tradition started in the 1930s. In 2020, they were proud to have their delicious maple syrup certified Organic by Ecocert Canada. This attests to the purity of their products and demonstrates an important commitment to sustainability.
Over the years, demand for their maple syrup has increased steadily and they now tap over 750 trees on the side of Irish Mountain. In addition to maple syrup being available daily at the roadside stand you can find Meaford Maples at the Meaford Farmers Market as well as at many area events. When you visit, you can savour the flavours of this wonderful maple syrup.
