Grey County Kiwanis Festival of Music

The Grey County Kiwanis Festival of Music began in 1932 with a mission to advance and develop talent in Grey & Bruce Counties. A competitive festival is held for two weeks in April followed by the Festival of Stars Awards Concert. Opportunities are provided for musicians & actors to be professionally adjudicated and to perform before an audience. Awards are presented to assist performers in their development. The organization also nominates local participants to attend the Ontario Music Festival Association’s (OMFA) provincial competition. The Festival is a not-for-profit registered charity organization that relies on the generosity of the community for their funding. Sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Owen Sound, the festival is open to participants of all ages.
